The guaranà (Spanish pronunciation: [É¡waɾaˈni], plural: guaranÃes; sign: ₲; code: PYG) is the national currency unit of Paraguay. The guaranà was divided into 100 céntimos but, because of inflation, céntimos are no longer in use.
